Question regarding Marauder level 4

Hey I just have a quick question.

Did the Marauder Level 4 get upgraded recently?

I bought a Marauder level 4 in sepetember 2012 when DS was having the "back to school" sale, and it came with an i5 Processor.
Now it is being sold with an i7 processor. Was there a recent upgrade to it or was the one I purchased an i5 because of the sale? Everything is the exact same except the processors.

Im just curious that's all.

Tough to keep track, but , and I could be wrong, the Marauder 4 in your day is the Marauder 3 now, still at $1299.  They added the New M4 for those wishing the i7-3770k  and a higher price.   If you payed $1299 then that's what the change is.  The 10% is always there and usually any promo doesn't mean the prebuilds, except maybe a warranty upgrade. 
 
 
DS does modify the prebuilds, like Marauder, ODE and Bolt,  on a regular basis to reflect marketing, new products, cutomers' wishes.
