So my new system is being built right now *well has been for the past month damn holiday back order* .   But was curious if they apply the new firmware fix for the meltdown bs? Or if i'm gonna have to do it when i get the system? Also has anyone seen any slowdown due to the firmware update/windows update for it ?

You should locate what the fix is and then request that particular fix to be applied. If uts drivers ask them to install me driver fix, if it's a bios flash then ask ds to flash that particular bios version for you.

If you don't specify you may endup with a misunderstanding.
