I am extremely happy with my Digital Storm laptop.  It is totally everything that was advertised.
 
Now, I want to add an external keyboard and monitor.  I have a brand new keyboard.  Are there any suggestions on a good monitor, in the 22" range?
 
Also, an extremely dumb question:  How do you keep the computer on with the lid closed, e.g. if I want to listen to music without seeing the screen?

All I can tell you is that make sure your mintor has an ips panel, ips has much better picture quality.

look for a monitor that has the same Viewing Angle, both vertical and horizontal, and is at or above 170°, this is a sign of a quality panel (ips) on a monitor, assuring great picture quality.
