Hello!

I've been messing around with one Digital Storm configuration or another for quite some time now, and I think I've found the one I want, but I do have some questions.

Now the questions:
  1. Could I get some pictures of the 850 case with the blue paint and white cathode kit?  This is a big part of my purchase and my purchase decision, so it has to look right.
  2. In my current machine I have an nVidia 8800 GTX that I would love to "recycle" into a new machine.  Hence the cheap-o GFX selection.
  3. I can't decide between the 550W PSU and the 750W.  Please advise.
  4. I will probably go with a bigger HDD.  In the long run it just makes sense over saving a few bucks.  Probably 320, we'll see.
  5. Are your DVD burners SATA devices?  If not, is it possible to get one.
  6. Do you allow for custom orders on a build, for example, I would love to have a 16GB MTRON MOBI SSD in my machine - would DS purchase that for me and install it (of course I would pay a small fee for the special order and expect it to delay the overall build).
That's about it.  Hope to hear from someone soon!

I am not sure how this post fell through the cracks, but the bottom line is that after not getting a single bit of feedback, I have opted to go with Solaris PC.

Best wishes to all at DS!

I hate it when this happens. We patrol the forums, but how vigilant can we be? If you don't hear back from us here on the forums within a day or two... Try giving us a call, it's why we're here.

He probably missed the email config for review option when he was playing with the customize screen.

The forums should be the last place you go when you want answers fast.

In retrospect, those questions could have easily gone in a config email, but I wanted to support your effort to build community by posting them here.  Oh well.

Maybe next time I'll buy Digital Storm!

Sam,
Avarice nailed this on the head, but I'd like to kindly offer two pieces of advice for next time.

First of all, register with the forum. If someone had responded to your question, you wouldn't have received a reply email. Unless you use Comcast. Comcast seems to block emails from DSO.

Second, standard forum protocol seems to be that if you don't get a response to your first post, type "bump" in areply to your own thread to "bump" the topic back to the top of the forum list.

Regards
