This is the temps my new GTO is running at.
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 Value Min Max Core0 52.0 C 51.0 C 54.0 C Core1 52.0 C 51.0 C 57.0 C Core2 45.0 C 44.0 C 55.0 C Core3 48.0 C 47.0 C 58.0 C GeForce GTX 280 Value Min Max GPU Core 43.0 C 41.0 C 43.0 C The reason i ask, is because it randomly shut down about an hour ago. And im not sure the cause. |

Its not your temps, cause those temps are fine any stop error codes? are you getting BSOD or just a screen freeze?

I was playing Call of duty world at war, and the computer just turned off.. much like a power outage. was really wierd.

see if this happens again.
you need to check your temps during game playing then, cause ide temp are lower then while under load. |

all temps while player are 58-60 C

it could be your power supply. What kind of PSU do u have and how many/what kind of video cards do u have?

it was the GTO, a GTX 280, and a Corsair 750W PSU

it has to be a fluke.. i jsut got dont playing a 3 hour frag fest in COD and nothing went wrong..
the comp shut down this morning, about an hour after first boot of the day. |

a 750 should be more them ample to run a single 280 especially with that tough +12v

meanwhile what is a good fan controller? maybe my fans arent doing what they should.? The ones on the side and top feel like they are blowing the wrong way. |

they are doing the right thing, try speedfan but you need to adjust its temps first to match cpu-s's temps

if your temps are fine leave it alone, otherwise you can try auto, play around with it a little bit so you can get familiar

My Computer used to randomly restart when I tried to OC the FSB to 1600. As soon as I moved it back to 1333, it was stable again. Do you have a CPU OC?
