Hi first time posting and first time member looking to purchase a system very soon. I have only general knowledge about comps. and I would like following things from my next comp. Looking for a system to max out games (fallout, CS source), upgrade proof for 5yrs., able to surf the web with numerous tabs with no slowdown in performance. I have a 21in monitor in max resolution setting (1280x960/1024?). Read through many posts here which I found very helpful and have a few questions left before ordering. Do I need liquid cooling? I am definetly looking for a quiet system but not at the expense of performance. What's a good compromise? Is the H20 stage 1 that much quieter/better than V8 Coolermaster air cool? Is the H20 stage 3 worth the $300? Is 1000w power supply necessary or does 750w suffice for my config with around 5yrs future proofing? Is there a noticable diff. in the level noise between the two power supplies? Does anyone have any pics of the HAF932 inside painted in any color? Comtemplating painting inside red but found no pics of color customized HAF builds in the forum. If anyone has pics of any customization options (body/hose clamp etc.), could you please post them? The pics of the HAF on the website seems to be too heavily customized to imagine how limited color customized HAF would actually look. Any thoughts or pics would be much appreciated. you don't need liquid cooling but if you want a quite PC then LC is the way go to, however most of your noise comes from the GPUs so they will need to be LCed also ands that will be costly.
if you are going with air then go with Noctua NH-U12P, if you gonna go LC then go with frostbite, otherwise don't bother. are you sure your resolution on the 21" monitor is in the 1200 x 1000 range? your PSU is suppose to handle your GPUs, and your GPUs depend on your resolution, so in short, a 750w will support 2 GPUs, 2 GPUs 2 will handle a 24" monitor with 1900 x 1200 resolution, if you think you will get a 30" monitor with 2560 x 1600 resolution, then you will need 3 GPUs and that will require a 1000w PSU. check the review section for pics of the HAF, but I don't recall a HAF painted inside other then black. now assuming your monitor native resolution is 1200 x 1000, this is what you need: Here you go Ticket# 307922 --- Price: $2367 (To see this build click here) Price after current promotion $2167 Copy of Specifications: Chassis Model: Cooler Master HAF 932 Exterior Finish: - Standard Factory Finish Interior Finish: - Standard Factory Finish Trim Accents: - Standard Factory Finish Processor: Intel Core i7 920 2.66GHz (Quad Core) Motherboard: EVGA X58 3X SLI (Intel X58 Chipset) (Supports Triple SLI or CrossFire) System Memory: 6GB DDR3 1333MHz Digital Storm Certified by mushkin enhanced (Highly Recommended) (Hand Tested) Power Supply: 750W Corsair TX (Dual SLI Compatible) Card Reader: - No Thanks Hard Drive Set 1: Operating System: 1x (500GB Western Digital (16MB Cache) (7200 RPM) (SATA) Set 1 Raid Options: - No Thanks Hard Drive Set 2: Multimedia\Data: - No Thanks Hard Drive Set 3: Backup\Misc.: - No Thanks Optical Drive 1: DVD±R/RW/CD-R/RW (DVD Writer 20x / CD-Writer 48x) Optical Drive 2: - No Thanks Internet Access: High Speed Network Port (Supports High-Speed Cable / DSL / Network Connections) Video Card: 1x NVIDIA GeForce GTX 275 1792MB (Includes PhysX Technology) Add-on Card: - No Thanks Sound Card: Integrated Motherboard Audio Extreme Cooling: AIR: Stage 2: Noctua NH-U12P High Performance Cooler (Compatible With ONLY i7 Processors) Liquid Color:- Not Applicable, I do not have a H20: Stage 3 Cooling System Selected Chassis Airflow: Upgrade Chassis With LED Performance Fans (Red) Internal Lighting: Internal Chassis Lighting System (Red) Enhancements: - No Thanks Chassis Mods: - No Thanks Boost Processor: Stage 1: Overclock the processor between 3.3GHz to 3.9GHz (Requires Air Cooling Upgrade) Boost Video Card: - No Thanks, Please do not overclock my video card(s) Boost Memory: Memory Fan Kit Only (Does not include memory overclocking service) Tweak Windows: - No Thanks, Please do not tweak the services on the operating system Windows OS: Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium (64-Bit Edition) With Windows 7 Upgrade Coupon Restore Kit: Digital Storm Specialized Recovery System (DVD Image Based) Virus Protection: - No Thanks Office: - No Thanks Benchmarking: - No Thanks Install/Test Game: - No Thanks LCD Display: - No Thanks Surge Shield: - No Thanks Speakers: - No Thanks Keyboard: - No Thanks Mouse: - No Thanks External Storage: - No Thanks Exclusive T-Shirt: - No Thanks Priority Build: - No Thanks, Ship Within 5-10 Business Days After Order Is Successfully Processed Warranty: 3 Year Platinum Care Extended Parts & Labor Warranty now if your monitor's resolution is at 1900 x 1200 then you will need 2 x 275 GTX to max out settings in games, otherwise a single 275 will handle what you got. |

I ran into him on live chat, got him all sorted on your config dst, just changed to a 1000w psu for any and all possible future upgrades down the line.
