Since the 780i got delayed till December and considering that the 780i is just a 680i with PCIe 2.0 support, do you guys at DSO think that the BIOS for making the QX9650 work on the 680i will be released about the same time, due to issues with the 680i chipset?
I bought the QX9650 and i'm just waiting on the BIOS update so I can finally get my system after build :D. If they are both coming out at the same time, then I just might get both of them together 780i and a QX9650.

Well that's pretty basic then, I figured it'd be much more complicated.

We are working with NVIDIA for a Beta-BIOS for the 680i A1. This will allow us to offer the QX9650 with the 680i until the 780i comes out. It should only be a matter of a few days from what we have been told. |

Damn! skyR, it never ceases to amaze me how much you know about what's going on in the PC world. Do you actually know all this stuff ahead of time, or are you Googling the specific answers as you go along?
