LOL nothing new, dual cards at the end of the day are just not worth it IMO. hotter, and slower then 2 single cards in sli. Lets not forget to mention that they say it sound like a jumbo jet.

Ive never had a dual GPU card, but wouldnt the noise honestly be expected to run such a card?

yea pretty much they have the sound of 2 cards in sli combined. and they have low min fps.

I have 295 gtx I use for folding and on this rig originally I had 4 x 295 GTX, I would not dare not have LC on them, not only do they get very hot but loud too, when air cooled.

480s run hot, but they are not where a 295 is.
