So according to the configurator no Radeon cards can be liquid cooled. I thought maybe this was just because the rx6000 cards were brand new but its also true of the 5700XT.

Is this just standard policy or something that will become available?

Don't know about the 5700, but with the new RX6000 series from AMD, like nVidia, will take a bit for the water blocks to get on to the market. I think DS uses two companies, so it will depend on when they get them from those companies. Then DS will put gpu water cooling for the AMD cards as an option in the configurator.

The 5700 XT has been out for over a year and it says on the configurator "we do not have liquid cooling available for AMD Radeon graphics cards". There should be no reason that they dont have waterblocks for those unless they really just flat out don't offer gpu watercooling for AMD

There isn't really any demand on it from customer side. We can always special order blocks if needed but will need to charge special order fees.

We are still waiting on the water-cool partners that we work with to provide availability and pricing on these parts. If there is another company that has them out already, our sales team will be able to provide you numbers.

the only thing I am waiting for before placing my order is 6900xt. So does it make sense to get all this rolling now (put a 6800xt in the configurator for now). How would I go about doing that? Just put in build notes? place order over phone? I had been talking to Ron S but haven't heard back from him in a couple days.

I am ready to order today if someone can help me through the custom parts part of things

Side note, we cannot water cool reference AMD cards as there is no availability on the GPU it self. We are waiting on ASUS/MSI to release their custom versions then the associated waterblocks from EK / Alphacool.

There was no stock from AMD, as you can see online retailers had small amounts as well. We do not offer reference cards unless specified, we do not have pictures from MSI or ASUS on their variants right now so those are placeholder pictures.
