Ordered my Lumos at the end of November and currently on stage 4 as they said they're waiting on more 6800XT GPUs. When I ordered there was no indication of inventory shortage. I did notice closer to xmas that there was a backorder date of March 2021 for these GPUs. Recently noticed (in the last couple of days) that is no longer the case when selecting this particular GPU with expected shipping 20-25 days after order.

My question is has anyone ordered after late November and received their rigs? Is everyone getting the same feedback from DS who currently has this GPU on order? No complaints as DS has been very responsive and helpful. Just making sure there are consistencies. Thanks gang!

I ordered in November and just hit stage 2 so your further than me right now

The estimates on build inventory aren't updated immediately. They give it some time to assess how the flow of parts are from a company like AMD before they place a disclaimer on a selected part. When you placed your order they probably had in good faith assumed they'd get stock to fulfill orders.

I ordered a 5900X/6800 XT combo and was on Stage 1 on 11/23 but have been on Stage 2 since 1/25.

Having said that, during the first month after I placed my order, I did take advantage of the build/shipping delay to re-configure and change my mind about coolers/RAM/hard drives more than once and DS was very patient with my indecision.
Now I'm just hoping to get my PC before the last week of March when I'm off work and can stay home and have plenty of time to play with it but that seems iffy to me.

VERY iffy for sure. DS has been fairly accomodating. The most recent person I spoke with was INCREDIBLE!! I sent in a question asking which version 6800XT they would put in. Said it could be AMD, MSI Trio, or ASUS TUF...whichever comes in but he was more than happy put in a request for ASUS or MSI. He also said AMD is the WORSE offender when it comes to getting them restocked. That mixed with the GPU shortage doesn't help.

Here's to hoping my machine arrives along with yours before the end of March!
