Hi, i am looking into buying a new xm15 or x15 with an intel i7 2760, but i am wondering if installing more Ram is as simple as buying another couple gigs, and installing it.  or is there specific ram that has to be used with these specific laptops?
Any advice would be appreciated :)

I'm not familiar with xm15 but changing ram for the most part is easy, if you are lucky its changed from the bottom of the laptop, which is very easy, if not you have to take the keyboard off and its probably under that, that is not a biggie either.

it doesn't matter what make of Ram i get?  just want to make sure :)

You have to match the kind of ram you have but what brand will not matter.

so, if i get 1333 mhz ram, then i need to get more of the same mhz?
