Can you mix different types of RAM/Memory 2GB DDR2 Corsair at 800MHz XMS2 (1X2GB) (CURRENTLY ON SYSTEM SETUP)
2GB DDR2 Corsair at 1066MHz Dominator DHX (Extreme-Performance) (2X1GB) what are the advantages and disadvantages?

for best results, you want to match your ram speed.

so that means you can use different brand of RAM, as long as you will stick with the similar RAM speed. that won't hurt the systems performance?, it will still have the same performance as the RAM with similar speed and company?

ram is ram, aslong as they have the same specs, speed, latency, etc, then its fine.
