Ok I purchased my computer from dig storm and I am in total love with it. Now I installed windows 7 64bit and noticed that it is only showing 6gb of my current 18gb of ram. to make total sure I have the 64 os. What can i do to check? also if i do have the 64 bit why isnt it showing? do i have to reset them in the bios? or does windows 7 ultimate have a mem limit? Im really confused about this because I would of not of bought a comp that has 18gb If I am not able to see it.

Thanks for all your responses.

as far as i know a 32 bit system will only recognize 4gb so if it reads 6 you def have 64bit.
2.5 Ghz Core duo
Nvidia 9500 gt
3 gb 1033 Mhz ram

I am having a similar issue, my windows is showing 3.99gigs usable out of my 6 installed.  I talked to a tech and he had me change the voltage and all 6 gigs were shown as usable.  That was like a week ago, I am not sure what prompted me to check the settings again but I am back to only having 3.99gigs usable.  Does this sound anything like the problem you are experiencing Daijo?

oh yeah win 7 64bit btw

this can be caused by a lot of things... bad stick of RAM, wrong voltages, wrong timings, bent CPU pins, CPU not seated properly.
First thing I would do would be to hit the windows button, in the search tab type  msconfig, click on msconfig, click on the boot tab, click on the advanced options, make sure the box is un-checked by the maximum memory. restart, see if that fixes it.

My Problem was caused by the timing on the sticks not being compatible. You might have a similar issue Daijo, call up tech support that's what they are there for, I got three new dimms coming my way = D
