hello i am looking into the Vengeance 1600C9 8GB 2x4gb ram and i was wondering if i were to get this would i be able to get a second pack and use them side by side?

You mean add another 8GB kit and fill all of the memory slots? You should be able to, but, it may cause your overclock to become unstable as it puts more stress on the memory controller.
