Just a couple of nitpicks. You would be better off with the Corsair 750W power supply for the 5 year warranty from Corsair, and the better overhead. You don't NEED that, but the name product and warranty are worth it. Same goes for the primary drive. The Samsung line has been top shelf for quite awhile, and even if you get the 970 EVO instead of the PRO, you get 5 years coverage from Samsung. Just good to have.
We don't think the CPU overclock is necessary at the turbo speed the 8700k puts out, but it won't hurt you. I presume you have need of the extra RAM you ordered, but 16 GB is all you need for gaming. Looks pretty good, but I'd see if I could upgrade that power supply just for peace of mind if you can.

Hey thanks for the feedback i really appreciate it! yeah i was kinda skeptical of the power supply but i just rolled with it. will this be a issue going further? also i overclocked the CPU because why not? (sorry not that great with pc's) wish i asked around first before i ordered. Edited by Meeks - 25 Oct 2018 at 4:18pm |

Welcome and congratulations.
Depending on where your build is (Stage) you can make changes by calling them if you want to change something like the psu. I did on mine. Keep us posted.

Hopefully, you can still make a change if you want to. If not, or if you don't want to spend extra, we confidently endorse the 600W from DS. They don't make their own, they contract for batches from name makers, and their endorsement is better than ours!
For me, it's a little light on headroom, (total wattage) and I don't know if the warranty on the unit itself extends beyond the one year DS parts warranty. Neither issue is a game breaker. The entire Vanquish line comes with that unit, and we heartily endorse those products as quality price/performance purchases.
The overclock won't hurt you one bit. Safe and sane, done by experts. |

I think that at that stage you can make changes but they will charge you so its not really worth it. You'll be fine like bprat22 stated. Soon.
