I just bought the Razer Lycosa keyboard and i cant get to function. The media portion works but not the keyboard itself any help would be appreciated

I went into their knowledge base already and found nothing i might have to call them on monday but i wanted to play halflife 2 tonight and try it out guess i will have to wait

I also bought the razer Lachesis mouse and it is plugged into the keyboard and it also works fine. I dont get it

Does it lite up or anything? I dunno im probably no help either haha. By media you mean the driver disk or whatever the heck that is that came with the keyboard. Now you have me worried though, I bought one of these things like 2 months ago...but ive yet to actually use it, mostly due the fact I dont want to plug it into the crap computer I have now. I dont want it to catch the suck. |

It lights up the mouse light pulses it's pretty cool if i could get the keyboard to work it is programable but i can't see programming every key

Go into BIOS and make sure that usb keyboard support is enabled.

And now that i think about it the keyboard i am typing is wireless but runs on a usb remote so i would think that it is enabled already

I have no answers for you other than to tell you that I have that exact same keyboard. I bought it just for my new DSO machine. I have the Extreame case that has additional usb and headphone jacks in the flip up panel on the top front of the case. When I got my rig, I just plugged it in and it all worked perfectly. Unless you have a bad key board or bad usp ports. Have you tried using other ports? Dont know. Sorry.
I also have Vista.

Again guys thanks for your help. Harleyman i tried all of those things you mentioned and nothing worked. Dog lover when you installed the driver for yours did it ask you to accept the license agreement because it didn't ask me so i was thinking it was a faulty cd. I am going to return it and get another one i will let you know what happens

Now check this out I got into the bios and I dont know what to change but while in there the lycosa works but as soon as i get out it stops again someone help me out i am completely confused what needs to be changed in the bios

I found the problem I have a usb controller for a wireless joystick and it conflicts with the keyboard i disconnected it shut the system completely down and when it came back on the keyboard worked |
