Hey guys. I made another post not that long ago about some help with my build and I've been happy with it but I'm still having trouble pulling the trigger and finally buying it. This PC would be used mostly just for gaming and I'd love to have it last me quite a long time if possible. I'd be wanting to play games such as GTA V, The Witcher 3, Batman: Arkham Knight, etc. So I'd thought I'd make another post just to see people's thoughts on it and if there is anything I should do or not do with it. I was trying to keep the price under $2500 but it went a little over but not by too much. What do you guys think? Anything I should change or am I good to go and finally seal the deal? Also I heard that this processor gets really hot so I'm wondering if the cooling I currently have in this build is enough or too much? Thanks in advance for your replies and thoughts.

Hi Skullcrusher588,

That is a great build that will serve you well. The only change I would make and it is not necessary, is to get the 110i 280 cooler rather than the 240. Only cost $10 more. The Apollo case will handle it nicely.

Frank

Alright I'll replace the current cooler with the 110i 280 cooler instead. Hopefully I'll be in DS land soon haha

I have something similar except for a different GPU but I'm pretty sure it will run those games and future games quite fine although The Witcher 3 is pretty much the new benchmark for maxing out your graphics these days. There's benchmark tests already out there if you'd like to see for yourself haha

I hope it'll be able to run those games haha. I've never actually been able to run games on the highest graphics and I'd love to be able to do that. Especially with the Witcher 3. The thing that keeps bothering me though is the GTX 970 or the GTX 980. If I were to change to the GTX 980 it would cost too much for me. Hopefully the GTX 970 will do the job. I've never really been good with customizing computers and such.
