Hey everyone,
I'm getting ready to order my new computer from DS in the next week or so, and now that I'll be able to play games at 4K, wondering if anyone has any 4K monitor recommendations. I've read a bunch of articles with suggestions, but inventory seems really low (stop me if you've heard that before), so I'm just curious if anyone has any thoughts or general recommendations. Thank you! |

If I were in the market for a 4K monitor, I would consider this:
LG27GN950 Here is a review from Hardware Unboxed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WEyF9QWH7pw&ab_channel=HardwareUnboxed |

That monitor has been superceded by the LG27GP950 with HDMI 2.1 There are more (and cheaper) 4K monitors coming to the market now that the hardware is more capable of moving all those pixels. Knock yourself out reading about them. Check Acer and Asus

Im waiting for the 2021 LG OLED 48" monitor/tv's.
Currently I'm using an Acer Predator 32" xb321hk, I personally DO NOT recommend Acer, I experience terrible customer service (but thats another story for a different forum) Edited by adambomb13 - 11 Mar 2021 at 6:18am |

If you're going all the way to 4K, I would consider just killing two birds with one stone and getting a decent 4K TV with HDMI 2.1. Could be a great computer AND living room solution.
I've had the LG C9 as my go-to monitor and I'm never going back. Bought one of those lapboard-keyboards and will never return to gaming at my desk. Edited by Slick_the_Bandit - 11 Mar 2021 at 9:58am |

Thanks everyone! As it turns out, I just pulled the trigger on a 27 in. Acer Predator XB273K - they have excellent reviews online, and are currently going for 24% off on Amazon - hard to pass up.
