All,
I just posted the below at resellerratings.com. Just wanted you all to know what I think.
Thanks!
Having built my own systems for the past few years and having been a Dell and Gateway customer before that, I can honestly say this is one of the best systems I have come across.
Customer service was excellent throughout - I had a number of questions on items and shipping charges and they ACTUALLY called me back to give me answers (certainly does not happen with Dell). I do have two areas' DSO could improve on: 1. I ordered my system with the CoolerMaster Stacker case. It boasted four USB2 ports on the front. I also ordered the 12-1 media card reader instead of a floppy. When the system arrived, none of the front USB2 ports worked. I called tech support and was told that with the media card reader option, two of the USB2 ports on the front will not work and he had no answer as to why the other two do not work. I am still trying to figure it out. However, the fact that the media card reader takes up two of the USB connections on the CM case should be advertised when you select that combination on the website. 2. The website update showed my system was scheduled to ship around the 15th of Oct. It did not ship until the 22nd. Not terrible, but an email to let me know what the delay was would have been nice. When I contacted them to question the delay, they said they were waiting for the 12-1 reader (not sure I would have ordered it had I known all the trouble it would cause:) Other than that, the build quality is fantastic. The wiring is a work of art and all the components are top-notch. I purchased a top of the line system with brand named components and it was still around 1K cheaper than a comparable Dell and well below a Falcon NW or Alienware. I would definitely buy from them again. |

Check and see if the USB is plugged in. My media reader and front audio was disconnected when the system arrived, I assume they came loose during shipping. In my case it was relatively easy to spot as two cables that looked like they wanted to be plugged in were resting on the floor of the case (front audio) and against the MoBo next to the USB connection. (USB connector for the media reader).
