Ugh, stock clock reviews. Need to see some overclocked versus overclocked.
Though I'm largely uninterested. Looking forward to info on socket 2011's chipsets. |

what about the 990x & 995x
some of these may not be legit(towards the bottom) i personally only herd about the 990x not the 995x http://www.guru3d.com/news/intel-plans-faster-hexacore-core-i7-990x-in-q4/ http://hw-lab.com/first-details-of-intel-i7-995x-processor.html http://www.cpu-world.com/news_2010/2010091601_Intel_plans_Core_i7-990X_Extreme_processor.html http://www.cpubenchmark.net/high_end_cpus.html http://www.passmark.com/forum/showthread.php?p=9618 |

990x won't offer any real gains over the 980x, for over clockers. exact same architecture.
995x if it is real will be the same deal, same CPU, maybe just a different stock multiplier. just like the difference from a 920, to a 950

huh, real quick comment on the SB mobos....Asus has their boards up online already, seems that front panel USB *3.0* capability is built right into the board rather than having to host the front ports off your I/O bracket. So no more dragging a cable from the front to back with Asus boards...

you are talking about the 3.0 USB deal?
A lot of PC's have USB's in the front, my Decepticon has 5 USB's in the front.
Some cases have 3.0 USB in fron now, and many more will soon
Just the deluxe models has that option, if that is what you are referring to.
