Hello,

I received my system yesterday and now have it up and running —the configuration is pasted below.

The machine arrived extremely well-packaged, attached to a pallet, and plastic wrapped. The computer box itself was flawless. The packaging in the box and the foam and other inserts inside the computer give immediate confidence that shipping issues were unlikely.

It was very straightforward to add the provided coolant. I had never done this before. I went slowly, but it was drip-free and went just like the video shows. The fill (and drain) port is very easy to access.

The internal plumbing and cabling are very impressive and give confidence the system is built to a high standard. In two past (non-DS) systems, I've had dangling cables near the motherboard cause problems.

I've rarely seen good cable management in a PC. This is very impressive. The coolant lines, both radiators, reservoir, and fans, are similarly nicely configured while leaving key internal components readily accessible should the need arise.

I recommend the Noctua fan upgrade (which DS recommended to me). I don't know what the stock system would sound like, but this system is silent at idle and has just a little fan noise when heavily loaded.

The machine started and booted into Windows 11 without any issues. It is already configured as my primary workstation, with only a handful of apps to handle as I need them.

I'm using the 4090 for machine learning purposes, and it is already showing many times the performance of my 4-year-old machine (which had a much lower-grade video card). During ML tasks lasting a couple of hours at 100% GPU, the GPU stayed in the 30s (C) range.

Nice system Digital Storm. Thank you!

Congrats. Awesome
I bet the 128GB of memory get a workout!

 Enjoy.Smile

Make sure those 980s have latest firmware. The issues apply directly to the 2TB models.  Look at the topic under HARDWARE DISCUSSION
