Hello, I recently bought a Digital Storm Velox X pc. I have the remote that it came with. It also has a big led strip and custom hard line water cooling. My remote works(I can see the infrared light), but it doesn't change anything in the pc. Also no matter what I use, ICUE, Digital Storm Control center, nothing works. It just cycles through all of these random presets. I did add in my old drives(4tb and 240gb), to have all of my files and the pc works fine but I just do not have any RGB control no matter what I do.
-Thank You |

Seems if you can see a light it should work. Inside the remote, there is a bit of plastic over the battery that you have to remove. Did you do that? There should be a set of (kinda obscure) instructions how to work the remote. Do you have those?
Here's the ones I have: https://www.digitalstorm.com/forums/uploads/8941/DS_RGB-Remote_Control-instruction_sheet.jpg You might check the wires and leads from all that gear to be sure no motherboard contacts came loose in transit, but other than that, I got nothin', sorry. ![]() It's been awhile since I've seen anything from him, but [email protected] invited troubleshooting questions be e-mailed to him. There was no plastic when I checked and the remote does flash red but still doesn't control the lighting. What cables could be disconnected?

Did you ever get this fixed? I just received my device and i can't get the colors to change at all. It's stuck at a solid white. The controller seems to be working because i see a red LED light from the remote everytime i press something. It's almost like it's not synced to the device. I asked support and they said to hold the lock but it did nothing... |

Not sure if this is the right place. Can someone tell me if it is possible to turn off the RGB light that goes around the inside of the computer. I just don't like or need any more lights.
Thanks, cusafr |

If they came with a remote, it has an off button. The remote comes in the box of extra parts, in an anti-static bag that hides what it is. You might hav overlooked it. If it does'nt seem to work, there is a button type battery inside that has a plastic cover to remove before use.
If all that fails, run backwards from the wires attached and simply unplug where they go into the motherboard. Happy trails. ![]() An instruction set for the remote is linked in my post above. Edited by Cretae - 29 Jan 2023 at 7:47am |

Cretae. Thanks for your reply. I have the remote and I can turn the lights off. However, I have to do this every time I start the computer. I was trying to turn them off permanently. So, I will try your advice and trace the the wires back to the motherboard. Thanks again, cusafr
