I just received my Velox last month. I'm more that satisfied with the build quality and the very high end parts that I've purchased. I am somewhat confused with the RGB however. There was no pre-installed software to control the lights but only a remote. Is there a solution for this? Or am I going to have to take out all the fans and controller and replace them with retail parts?

It seems there are way too many issues with the Remote controlled RGB light strips for the issue to go unresolved and not just with DS Pcs. The same issue was present from my previous PC built by another company.
Hence the reason I will not go with RGB case lighting controlled by a remote in the future.

I would hope that DS would research this and resolve the issue. Surely they are aware of this ongoing complaint. Aren't they?

There is a lot of info out there on the internet and YT on these Remote issues, such as how to reset them and re-pair them with your PC.

For me, no more Remote controlled LED strips.

There have been too many changes to the rgb lighting for me to be up on it. 5 years ago, my lighting worked via the remote out of the box. You can try this, but I think the remote doesn't look like this anymore:

Make sure there's not a protective plastic tab on the battery. Maybe press and hold buttons for a second or two.

Failing that,
