You’d have to plug the module into an external source.   The power supply in the case shuts down on power off.

If you mean how do you keep a particular light selection after you power off your system, this seems to work:

After you pick the lighting you want, on the little remote, press:
MODE > LOCK > (remote) POWER OFF > (remote) POWER ON.

If that's what you wanted, hope it works for you.
