i dont know how long a support ticket will take to answer me. I
ordered my rig back in november. it has finally
arrived after 3 months. i hooked it up yesterday and within 24 hours, i
have had the rig constantly just restart/reboot on its own and
occasional blue screen and a visual glitch (screen got all weird colors
and then the rig restart). they all seem to happen when im playing a
game, mainly world of warcraft. never had this issue on my older rig.
this
is really irritating. i cant game without a reboot within an hour or so
of playing. I noticed the GPU fans werent spinning so maybe they were
getting to hot? i spoke with a DS online support person and
he asked me to install MSI afterburner and set a curve for the GPU fans.
I did that, and the GPU fans did start to spin so i was hoping that
would solve the problem. unfortunately it has
not. i have tried playing WoW and other games twice in the last 2 hours
and each time, i get a blue screen or the computer just randomly
restarts. so one of the hardware pieces has to be defective? So
basically, i cant use this rig. this rig cost me over 3k and i really
want to start using it as you can imagine. but i cant do anything on it
other than watch youtube. I would really like
to get this solved and i dunno how long till DS tech team contacts me. I have a couple days
off work and want to use that time off experiencing this rig ive waited
so long for. can anyone offer any advice as i await DS response? are you able to help? thank you

Did you run all Windows updates before gaming? The blue screen is usually indicative of a voltage problem (e.g., too low an undervolt will cause the famous BSOD). What cooling system are you using? If the CPU gets too hot, the system will shut down.
GPU fans will spin according to their VBIOS (e.g., when GPU sensors exceed a predefined temp). Unless you are overclocking or trying to fine tune, you wouldn't need MSI Afterburner. CPU fans can be controlled via the BIOS. Your system should have been stress tested prior to leaving DS. Sometimes things get loosened or jarred during shipping. You should make sure everything is properly seated. |

my cooling system is h20 Extreme cooling stage 2 DS storm vortex liquid CPU cooling. i checked windows update, it says im all up to date. it does offer a free update to wins 10 version 20h2. not sure if that is important or not. im not over clocking the GPU. so we think it is a power supply issue? cuz i remember several years back having an issue similar to this and it was a power supply issue. I dont know if anything got unhooked or loosened with shipping. everything appears in place though but i cant be certain and i am not tech savvy in the slightest. im worried DS didnt really stress test this rig because the emails said the stress tests are done over 3-5 days and within the same day of getting the email that the rig was in stress test, i got another email saying my order has progressed to the next stage. |

You could have a power supply problem. I found this link which describes similar problems as yours:
Random computer crashes. Random blue screen crashes. Extra noise coming from the PC case. Recurring failure of PC components. PC won’t start but your case fans spin. https://www.pcgamer.com/is-my-computer-power-supply-dead/ Diagnosing and replacing a failed PSU is not terribly difficult but could take time. Similarly, shipping your system back to DS if that is what the source of the problem is may not be the most efficient. DS will advise you and provide you options. You are under warranty. |

Man, that's awful to hear. I really hope DS will get it fixed for you quickly. I'm still waiting for mine to arrive but my biggest fear is that it'll have problems after waiting for such a long time for it.
Someone mentioned emailing Stellar, you should definitely try that! And keep us updated |

I ordered on 11/21. I was told by CS I'd be receiving my unit around 12/21.
It hit Stage 3 & 4 in 2/3 & I haven't heard a thing since. Emailed them last week too. I'm seeing people who ordered in January having received their orders already. Bolt Config with: Processor: AMD Ryzen 9 3900XT (12-Core) 4.7 GHz Turbo Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix X570-I Gaming (Wi-Fi) (AMD X570) (Mini-ITX) (Up to 1x PCI-E Device) |

Update spoke with DS tech team and they stressed tested the computer without issue. few corrupted files that windows repaired but the GPU, RAM and processor didnt show any issues under the test. the tech i worked with was very friendly and knowledgeable. he asked me to just monitor the rig for now and report to him if i have any further issues. gave me a direct line. so ill keep everyone posted on what happens. good luck to the others who are having similar issues
