If you go back to 2011, no one really knew what Bitcoin was. Now, the name Bitcoin is constantly popping up in the news. Cryptocurrencys such as Bitcoin, Litecoin and Dogecoin have been rising in popularity as of recently and the AMD graphics cards supply has definitely seen a hit as a result. What sparked the sudden interest in cryptocurrencies? In order to know, we must first look back to where it all began. - See more at: DS Unlocked Article: Rise of Cryptocurrencies:: The Beginning of a New Era Edited by Nav - 30 Dec 2013 at 9:41am |

Two things.
1. I was tickled to see you included Dogecoin. Such inclusion Wow Very wealth 2. The link you have in your post directs to the professional gamer article, not the currency one. You can just click over on the sidebar for now, but you might want to redirect that link for when the post is older. Edited by Tidgxor - 30 Dec 2013 at 6:52am |

I know very little about these currencies but did read a little the other day after seeing the news about Bitcoin value crashing when China outlawed (or whatever it was they did) them.
I think they will become more prominent in the future but at the moment they seem far too volatile, however, the way of the world these days it wont be long before the US Dollar and other "safe" currencies are no longer considered "safe". Edited by ScottishBattleAx - 30 Dec 2013 at 1:16pm |
