PC just arrived at the facility for RMA. Does anyone know the stages for the RMA? Thanks guys.

mine had 5.  from initiating the rma, to receiving the unit and initial assessment, to completion of assessment and needed work, to running stability testing, completion of stability testing and then finally notification of shipping the product back.

Unless they changed:

» Received Computer (Stage 1)
» Duplicated Issue(s) (Stage 2)
» Resolved Issue(s) (Stage 3)
» Final Stability Testing (Stage 4)
» Sent to QA (Stage 5)

I guess the post-DS testing (ie, Stages 8 & 9 on the initial build) do not apply on an RMA Whoa

Never had to RMA a whole computer, lucky enough to be able to rip into myself.

Gotta be tough on the psych.

So a little update. Just got a call from DS and they said that the cover of the hard drive, sata board, and the cage were all damages so those are being replaced. With my order, I opted for the ssd. When it got here and all the way until it left my house it was fine. I downloaded a number of games to it. They said in the call that they can't find an ssd. When I received the PC I also couldn't find the ssd in the actual PC. I figured it was well hidden. It wasn't in the hard drive cage. Where was it....
