RTX 3080 wait times?

I ordered a PC on October 26. I am in stage 4 but waiting on a RTX 3080. This wait is killing me. I had no idea it would take so long to get one in stock for my PC. I was wondering if anyone has any idea on how long of wait times I should expect? Maybe someone has input who ordered one around the same time as me and has passed stage 4?

Hey Mike, Welcome to the forums.

So I cant give you a set timeframe here but I check nearly everyday on here and read all posts related to the 3080. I too have a system ordered on 11/13 with a 3080 that I anticpate being backed up on.

From what I have gathered and can at least confirm for sure is that they have recently started shipping October orders, but I do believe that is early October. DS reports they machines stacking up waiting for the 3080 ready to ship as soon as a card gets pushed to them.

The common time from order placement to it actually shipping out that I have been seeing is ~2 months. So I would anticpate that you would receive your system in hand early to Mid January 2021.

Again I do not work for DS and they are suffering from the low supply just like everyone else, but I've checked the forums everyday for 2 weeks now and am just another customer in the same scenario as you.

I ordered on 10/20 with a 3080 also and my build just hit stage 5 last week. Send [email protected] a message. I found out i had a 3080 for my build but was waiting for m.2 samsung. Whats awesome is, as soon as he told me my build was waiting on the m.2, he emailed me saying it just arrived. So shoot him a message. He will update you.
