This is overkill for most gaming uses, and it's super expensive. However, it still makes me drool!

Yeah... I do not typically get drawn in by the best of the best. However, JayzTwoCents overview of the 3090 Ti FTW3 Ultra did make it seem colossally magnificent. The smaller refinements really are notable: • Thicker backplate • Simpler color scheme • Power cable out the side -- Although, this will be a problem in some cases (pun intended). • Denser memory modules (not specific to EVGA) - All chips are on the same side of the PCB and thus can be actively cooled by the massive heatsink and fans - It also has increased memory bandwidth. But essentially four PCI slots. Whew!!! I can see a fitting meme with Thor. GN did their usual breakdown: EVGA RTX 3090 Ti FTW3 Review & Benchmarks: Power, Thermals, & Overclocking | Gamers Nexus (YouTube) And, in their tests, at stock config consuming nearly 550W! -- versus ~390W for the non-Ti. My 3090 FTW3U has only peaked at ~360W (via HWMonitor). Either way, taking 30W from GN's peaks would still place the 3090 Ti at ~500W peak. Edited by MrCheetah - 29 Mar 2022 at 1:07pm |

Does anyone know if Digital Storm is planning to add liquid cooling support for this monster?
