Hello all,
I was just wondering if anyone would be kind to give a good rundown on the different DS systems available. I've read the descriptions already given but wanted to get some pros and cons of each from people who have owned any of these systems or had any experience with them (think i might be redundant here). Thank you very much. I'm especially curious about the syndicate. |

jooks1184, DS does not make any of their own products other then the tec.
all the different systems use teh same retail parts, same mobo, ram, psu, hdd/ssd, cpu cooler and etc, the case it self maybe different but the hardware is the same. what people get all depends on what they need, what they need may not be what you need. syndicate is a case, the hardware in it is pretty much the same as the builds you see me make with the haf x, that case is a bit cramp IMHO, there are reviews of it in the review section, you can view the reviews there, from different builds, but if you pay attention you will see their cases is different but most of hardware is the same. |

Sorry, what I meant by pros and cons is how the different cases fare with air cooling and liquid cooling. I read your reply to someone's post stating that people not familiar with liquid cooling maintenance should probably get air cooling. I may be mistaken but that's what I got from that. I can't remember the post. I've heard the HAF X and Assassin are good for air cooling but I'm curious as to which one is best. Same goes for liquid cooling. I just want the right case for my room. Thanks.

Hi jooks1184,
There are way too many different setups to comment on the different ones. You need to tell us the res of your monitor and what you want to use the computer for. What games you want to play. Then we can recommend the best systems for you to consider. Normally you will end up with a system that meets your requirements, with the best power, for the least amount of money. Frank |

1900X1200 is my screen res. I am mostly going to use my system for gaming and movies. I was thinking about liquid cooling but I don't know much about maintenance and I don't want to be without my system for a couple of weeks when I send it to DS. So I was hoping to see, with the all the hardware being the same, what case would give me the best air cooling setup.
