Safe Quality Aventum II Build?

If anyone has any opinions on my configuration on the Aventum II I'd love to hear them, I'm aware it's a bit overkill but I'm still worried about a few things. My main worry is that something in this thing will overheat or breakdown before it needs to. I'm aware it's got a massive amount of fans, heck I even added 2 more next to the processor and the GPU's. I have both the processor and the graphics cards overclocked, which is something I've never had before. Also the graphics cards I have, 3 of them, are already super-clocked, which I imagined adds heat, so I don't want overclocking to break it down too quickly. I just don't want to spend this kind of money on a machine this powerful and have it break down rather quickly. My main worry right now is the overheating, I've done most of my PC gaming on a laptop that just loves to overheat, honestly I'm surprised it's still standing. I just want this computer to perform fantastically and not break down if that's not asking too much. I'm a bit new to this website to so I'd love to know everyone's experience with this company. I've heard some fantastic things but I've also heard some bad stuff, nothing to horrible but still, I don't want to risk anything, spending this much makes me nervous. Either way let me know what you think of Digital Storm and/or my configuration.

That is going to be an awesome machine, jettman0! Looks like you found the Holy Grail of custom computers by coming to DS.

Like bally7, my machine is nearing the end of it's build (just waiting on a custom ordered part or two). Mine's essentially an Aventum II in a HailStorm shell. With liquid cooling, heat is less of an issue since that heat is moved towards the exterior of the machine.

Can't wait to see pics of your beast once it's finished. Keep us up to date on your build.

Jettmann0- there are some videos of a user (Evil ??somthing I do not remember) that recently purchased a similar config. Watch his YouTube posts and read his review if you want any further convincing that this system is in a class by itself. Email Alex or call Digital Storm to get some further info on over clocking and life of product. I have a five year warranty on my system, so that if the CPU or GPU fails because of use, they will work to replace it with a similar model or value I believe. Have your attorney read the warrenty detail for exact performance guarantees.

Greetings Jettman0 and welcome to the Forums.Just a few points on your build. 1: on the Ram, from what I have learned from on of their "High End " Builders (Thanh Phan) the higher clocked ram doesn't seem to play nice with the 3970x proc. I ended up going -w- the 1866 sticks and they were able to get it up a stable 4.7GHZ with those. Also, there is really not noticeable difference (other than in benchmarks) in anything over 1600 sticks so it's not really needed and can save ya a few green backs. 2: Power Supply, there really is no need to replacing the 1200 watt PSU -w- the 1500 unit (unless you plan on installing another Titan) as the one in the package is more than sufficient for the Rig as is (and ya same a bit more cash). 3: The 2 side installed fans are not even needed for this system what with all the thermal controls that are already a standard part of it. nix the fans so you can see more of that awesome machine (trust me they are soooo not needed and there are a few on here who can attest to that) and save some cash. 4: You've chosen to purchase a 27" 1920x1080 display....Nix that and take the money you have saved (plus maybe a bit more) and get a Dell U3014 2560x1600 display. The Titan's really on hit their stride so to speak on higher resolutions screens (and even multiple ones) to pair them up -w- a 27" would be a waste of all that power your purchasing.
Just my opinions of course but others may agree with me on these.hope this helps ya and once again welcome to the forums and DS.

Thanks for the feedback everyone! I've made a few changes so far, I changed the type of RAM, just don't really want to take chances so I got the 1866 sticks, according to Tio it'll help with stability. Also I changed the first SSD to a Samsung 840 PRO 256gb's, but only 1, and I plan on keeping the hard drives. I would just love to have that kind of space to keep all of my games on, I filled up 500gb rather quickly to be honest. I'm also going to keep the extra fans, if it's not going to damage my performance then I'd prefer them be there just to be safe. That and my power supply will probably stay the same, I'd like to have more than enough than just enough, unless 150 watt PSU causes problems I'm sticking with it. Really though, thanks for the feedback everyone, it's been really helpful, if anyone else has any other suggestions I'd love to hear them.
