Safe Temp range for i7 920

Ok, I'm rolling on a stock clocked i7 right now (due to stock cooling). However, I'm worried- under load, it's hitting 83 C core temp. Is this an ok temperature?

personally my red line is at 80c but no higher then 83c and you should be fine.

If your under 100% stress load, that's fine. Don't forget, your system will never be running under so much stress extensively anyways.
