Since I cant create topics in Customer Reviews, Im posting my happiness here-

I order my pc on the 11th, and it shipped on the 19th. I called in several times, made a change when it first hit Stage 4, and everyone was courteous and helpful the entire time. I didnt really try to talk to anyone over the forums or email, opting to call instead, and I got an answer within 10 mins every time.

I got my machine on the 25th (used the free shipping), the box had an abrasion that you could feel the case through but I later discovered that this wasnt an issue due to the excellent packaging DS uses. Naturally, I tremendously underestimated the size of the TJ09 case, and therefore the size of this box. there is about 4 inches of space all the way around the computer, filled with a firm foam cage. Im a shortish guy (5'6), so I thought about using the box as a barstool or something- my feet wouldnt touch the ground.

Anyway, I pulled out the 'puter, hooked it up, and it ran with no issues immediately. Booted like lightning, loads games faster than anything ive ever seen, etc etc. I played COD4, Crysis, NWN2, and Oblivion at highest graphics settings (all High for Crysis, I think it goes higher) and the gameplay was smooth with no issues. 3D Studio Max, Blender, Photoshop, etc have never run faster for me.

I have the computer in a walk in closet where Ive had to setup my desk, no AC vent and only one desk fan high above the pc. Gets about 80-85 degrees in there. Processor runs at a consistent 47-53 degrees Celsius idle or playing Crysis/COD4 at max, gpus show about the same.

That case is a rock, I couldnt be happier with it. The parts look awesome inside, and I kind of wish I had the metal Gen1 Megatron to put inside as there is a great deal of room to work with. My only complaint has to do with the binder- it didnt have any benchmarking info in it. I assumed that every system was benchmarked by various means, and that the paperwork would be included, and I thought this was awesome. But do you have to purchase the benchmarking software for that? And do you have to purchase a game in order to have gameplay tested? My understanding was that demos and free editions of benchmarks would be used for substitute.

In any case, its a very minor inconvenience in a deep reservoir of satisfaction. Thanks, Digital Storm, I appreciate your work. Pics may come later if I have the time and manage to connect to the internet on the new pc. Id been using the ATT Global Wireless thing on my laptop so now im screwed.

Nice rig! Do you have your HDD in RAID 0? I've always wondered what the TJ09 is like up close. Are the case sides thicker than average? It seems the design works well for keeping the graphics cards cool.

Pics will have to wait until at least tomorrow!

My drives arent in RAID, ive just got everything installed on one, with all of my videos, work, music, other things on the other. The entire case seems very sturdy to me, and feels sturdy when i mess with it. The pop up IO panel is awesome, and also very sturdy. The cooling is more than sufficient so far, i put my hands by any of the exhaust fans in the middle of Crysis and the air is cool. ive yet to synthetically load my cpu and see how it acts, but im sure it will be fine.

Dude, Dog Lover is the only one in the forum (I think) that has posted pics of his TJ09. I was pretty damned interested in seeing some myself. I will post pics when I can, but keep in mind that I am setup in a closet and dont make fun of my dirty clothes, haha.

I posted a review of DS with pics of TJ09 (it never got moved to the customer review forum though):

I love that case though... it's extremely detail oriented and has a much more professional look than many of the "gamer" cases out there.

I've since replaced the red lighting with 2 blacklights and it looks even cooler.
