Since this will be my first computer not being a pre-loaded box, can any of you more experienced people give me a guide for what i'm gonna need to be doing as a guide? I'm getting a dual-boot and am not sure if i will need to load a firewall for both OS or not. Same goes for anti-virus. I will also be loading drivers for my display and printers as well as transfering programs from the machine i have now. Any hints or tips would be most helpful since its "on its way" .(woot)

Very simple!
When you turn on the computer, it will bring up a boot menu which lets you pick which operating system to start.
Install your monitor's driver. Then install your Anti-Virus and FireWall software on both operating systems. Follow that up with your accessories (printer, etc).
Then you are ready to rock-and-roll.
