I have recently bought a computer by DS and was wondering on what is the standard shipping. I am just curious because I am a very impatient person. If anyone has the time to respond I would be grateful.

Alright well I got everything sorted out, I just got an e-mail saying that it went to stage 7 and said it would be shipped out in one business day :]

The Vanquish unit, when cases are in stock and they're not trying to catch up with the orders, usually ships within 72 business hours... then the actually shipping can take anywhere from 3 - 10 days depending on how far you are from California, and the weather, etc.

So I had checked my bank and for some reason the money I had used to buy the computer had been returned, but the order is still in place. I called Digital Storm because that's who is keeping it from shipping. Does this happen often?

Did your bank say why the money was returned?

They said that they froze the purchase and that the money will be used if they continue the purchase. I called them, but they don't work on weekdays.

Just a guess here... perhaps it has something to do with the backorders?  It makes financial success to 'hold' the money in the originating bank if there is chance the product can't ship on time and the customer cancels the order because it's late.
 
Either way, I'd let the folks at DS explain it to me.  After all, they're pretty good at what they do.  Don't worry about it until you talk to them.
