Sorry if this is beating a dead horse, but I keep seeing extremely large wait times posted on this forums for deliveries. It's a little worrying. When I was at configuring at checkout it said 10-15 business days but I've seen on here people waiting months. Even with "pre-configured" options. Is this normal practice? Will I have to wait "patiently" for months? Not trying to sound cross just genuinely curious.

It's a fair critique- the standard boilerplate when ordering does still give the impression that it will be done quickly - but it's out of date.

Due to supply shortages and the resulting orders backlog, a couple of months seems to be the norm. I'm in week seven since ordering and just got to the "we have all the parts" stage. Now waiting in the assembly backlog,

FWIW - I spec'd a build at Falcon and was told that it would be "a couple of months"

Yeah honestly I guess I just didn't expect it to take months. I understand outages of items and stuff. Sort of commonplace in the world today I guess I should have known. Part of me figured maybe it would be quicker since I ordered a pre-configured set ha. Thanks for the reply!

Ordered mine on February 23rd. Below is my timeline so far. It is a little longer than I anticipated and hoped for, but this is my third system and based on my prior purchases I think it is worth the wait. Hoping it starts getting assembled and shipped soon though!

2/23 - Stage 1: Backlog
3/16 - Stage 2: Inventory Assigned

Yep, always worth the wait...! DigitalStorm Build Quality over speed any day here. It's a substantial investment.

Enjoy the anxiety and suffering as much as I always do. It's truly the best part until that rig is jacked off the truck...!

One thing I've learned in my 10 years of being around Digital Storm, Alex and the forums...

You can't bother Alex with questions. You can ask as many as you like and as often as you like. Being excellent to customers is his superpower and we are all better for it.

So, go ahead, ask away. Day 15, day 10, day 42, day 1, it really doesn't matter. Get the answers to every little question you have about your machine. After all, it IS your machine.

He doesn't mind.
