MY ODE FINALLY SHIPPED.

But now, I would like to define some "prep" and things customers should do when the ODE is out of the box. This may help customers in the future.

Please correct me if I miss something and if possible, answer some questions as well.

Step 1 - Open the box and check all contents
Step 2 - Remove the foam from inside the case and check the inside contents for missing parts/damages
Step 3 - Press on the RAM and video card to make sure it doesn't dislodge (i'm not a big fan of taking the ram/gpu out without reasons and re-seating them in if it does not look off.)
Step 4 - I don't think the ODE side panel comes with a fan, so at least I don't have the problem of others where they have to figure out where to connect the fan
Step 5 - Plug in the power cords, usbs, and monitors, turn on the computer
Step 6 - Cross fingers and hope everything works
Step 6 - Certify your own benchmarks/heat

Now step 6 is where I have question.

#1 What should I download to see how good my gpu stress test result is? Can anyone kindly give me the link to direct download?

#2 What should I download to see how good my cpu stress test result is? Can anyone kindly give me the link to direct download?

#3 What should i download to see how my CPU heat is faring under stress/gaming?Can anyone kindly give me the link to direct download?

#4 What should i download to see how my GPU heat is faring under stress/gaming?Can anyone kindly give me the link to direct download?

#5 What should i download to see my v-core, and also my overclocked speed? Can anyone kindly give me the link to direct download?

Also, after those stress test, there's some numbers and most likley I'll need some help of "deciphering what those numbers mean

I appreciate everything and if there is anything i missed, please let me know

Download HWMonitor to check gpu and cpu temps and vcore ... http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html
and cpu-z to check vcore and oc.    http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html
Temps for cpu and gpu in the 60's and 70's or lower is real good

In cpu-z, the overclocking will be in lower left window as Core Speed and vcore will be in upper right or so as Core Voltage.

Have fun and good luck.Big%20Smile

To add to what bpat22 said you can download GPU-z to to monitor and stress the graphcis card.  GPU-z allows you to log the data to a text file.

I would download Prime95 to stress your CPU.

Hi darbebo,

One thing I do is when the computer is delivered. Check over the exterior of the box before you sign for it. If there is any damage have the delivery guy make a notation on the paper work. Sometimes the whole side or corner has substantial damage. That doesn't necessarily mean the computer is damaged but it may help if you have to make a claim.
