I want to know whether shipping from air will yield the same protection as shipping from ground. I know eventually it will ship by ground even if I choose to ship from air but there will be less travel distance.
Just wanna know from others prospective. My configuration is not going to be liquid cooled, just closed looped config. BTW I live in the east coast

I have been in the delivery/shipping business for over 30 years, every single person I know that works for ups and fedex, drivers or office workers, all say air will have it going through more belts and belts mean more drops, in short they all say for something like a pc ground is better because it will travel through less belts, and in ground they take better care of the boxes.
I too leave on the east coast, it really comes down to the driver that picks up the pc and the one that brings it your house, assume the belts didn't make a difference. You will hear different from some others, I can only tell you what people that work for ups and fedex tell me, I would take their word over anybody else's and I have. In short I recommend you go ground for heavy and fragile stuff no matter what you are doing, that is what I do. Edited by DST4ME - 05 Oct 2016 at 11:36pm |
