i want to get a 24" monitor soon, right now i have a 19"
im not too familiar with the screen size to resolution ratio but i would guess at least 1600x900? also i was wondering if DS would be shipping PC's with windows 7 after the 22nd? |

I'm pretty sure they will, res for a 24" is gonna be around 1900 x 1200
do you ever plan on getting a bigger monitor or adding sound cards and etc? to config a system for you with the parts I like, the price would come to $2500, that is due to the fact that you need 2 gpus for 1900 x 1200 res so you can run all games smooth on highest settings and a better psu. but the prebuilds will give you what you want and be cheaper. i modified yours abit stepping down the PSU just a little for a better mobo, the reason is that the LE only has 1
pci express x16 lane and one x8, so any SLI/xfire setups would be suffocated by the x8(or so ive read in reviews) anyway heres the modified one http://www.digitalstormonline.com/comploadsaved.asp?id=339030 i noticed you went with stage2 aircooling, is the asetek not a very good cooler or somthing? ok but then with that mobo tri sli is the max you can do, there will be no room for any other kind of card.
get the 1000w corsair, it gives you the ability to upgrade to max, change your HDD to a 500GB and upgrade to a ssd later or get a veloci or ssd now, you always want a small but fast drive (veloci/ssd) for your HDD1 for os/games/apps and a bigger slower drive(500GB/1TB) for HDD2 for file storage. I don't like the asetek much, it has not been around long enough for anybody to say whether they are good or not, Noctua NH-U12P would last longer IMO and easier/cheaper to change/fix. get the ram fan. other then that it looks good

at the moment ssd's are just too expensive for me haha,
ill been fine with regular HDD's
i dont think i will ever be using tri SLI though, overkill in my opinion(for now)probably swap out the 275's way later on if need be i can always get a better PSU so 500GB HDD + ram fans appreciate the help so far Edited by sidology - 09 Oct 2009 at 4:47pm |

if you don't think you will ever need tri sli then stick with the mobo you got, that will be fine.
