Looking to buy a new PC but not sure if what I want is the best or too overboard for what I want.

I play a large variety of games, FPS and MMOs mostly. Looking to have a PC that will run most popular games in those genres smoothly, like big WoW raids, big fights in BF3 and the like.

Got a budget of about $3,000-$3,500 and so far what I'm looking at is below.

I do need a monitor, keyboard and mouse, as I used to travel a lot and thus used a gaming laptop, not to mention current mouse is dying. So recommendations on that front would be nice too.

Nice build. However, you may wish to consider some changes.

-First, I noticed that you may have gone a little overboard on the PSU. A smaller one should be fine, considering that you only have a single graphics card.
-Also, the 2700, while a fine processor, is Sandy Bridge. You may wish to upgrade to a Sandy Bridge E (for better performance) or Ivy Bridge (lower power consumption, slightly better performance).
-Also, for a desktop, I need to ask if you actually need a wireless card, or if you can just use an ethernet jack to connect it.
-In addition to that, you might want to change your primary drive to a solid state drive, and use the 3TB Hitachi as your multimedia drive.
-Finally, with the HAF X case, the cooling provided by Noctua fans would probably be better than the H20 cooling you had picked.

Here would be a possible recommendation:

Chassis Model: Special Deal Hot Seller - Cooler Master 942 HAF X
Exterior Finish: - Standard Factory Finish
Trim Accents: - Standard Factory Finish
Processor: Intel Core i7 3820 3.6GHz (Turbo Mode up to 3.8GHz) (Quad Core)
Motherboard: ASUS Sabertooth X79 (Intel X79 Chipset) (Features USB 3.0 and SATA 6Gb/s)
System Memory: 16GB DDR3 2133MHz Corsair Vengeance (High-Performance)
Power Supply: 800W Corsair GS (Dual SLI Compatible)
Expansion Bay: - No Thanks
Hard Drive Set 1: Operating System: 1x (180GB Solid State (By: Intel) (Model: 520 Series)
Set 1 Raid Options: - No Thanks
Hard Drive Set 2: Multimedia\Data: 1x (3TB HITACHI Deskstar (7200 RPM) (SATA 6Gbps) (H3IK30003272SW)
Hard Drive Set 3: Backup\Misc.: - No Thanks
Optical Drive 1: DVD-R/RW/CD-R/RW (DVD Writer 24x / CD-Writer 48x)
Optical Drive 2: - No Thanks
Internet Access: High Speed Network Port (Supports High-Speed Cable / DSL / Network Connections)

Extreme Cooling: AIR: Stage 2: Noctua NH-D14 SE2011 Extreme Performance

Some notes on this build:
-Large raids in WOW are more intensive on your processor than most other tasks, and the 3820 should be good. If you feel like dishing out the money for it, you may wish to go with the 3930, although unless you are on a raid with your 500 closest friends, the 3820 will probably be fine.
-Also, I just randomly decided to upgrade the RAM. If you wanted to save fifty bucks, just downgrade it to 1600MHz.
-Finally, there is a cheaper solid state drive that you could go with, that could save you some money. However, Intel SSD's have longer warranties, and I actually have first hand experience with them, so I feel better recommending them than the 120GB Corsair.
-I left all of your peripherals the same, because I do not game often, and I have little experience with gaming mice.
-I left you at Home Premium, but if you ever decide to upgrade the amount of RAM on your build, you will need to switch operating systems, because Home Premium only allows for 16GB, while Professional and Ultimate each allow for 192GB, Linux (64bit) can use 128GB, and Mac OS (if you want a Hackintosh) can use a theoretical 32 EB of RAM.

One question I have is why the motherboard change?, and I do need the wireless card as my room of the house I live in isn't the one with the router in it. So need the wireless.

Hi Manath...... I can't cut and paste right now so check out config # 695448      Cost $2723.     This gives you your Deluxe mobo for WiFi, sli 2x gtx 670 to max out gaming on a 24" monitor and the D14 cpu cooler for tops in reliability.    Just select your drives, etc.        See what you think and good luck.

The only reason the motherboard was changed was to support Sandy Bridge E, which requires an X79 motherboard with an LGA 2011 socket.
