I think I need to replace my DvD/Cd burner in my SilverStone TJO4B-W Tenjin ATX Mid Tower Case. Do I have to take the front cover off to do this? I hope not. Anyone have this or had this case? Any help would be appreciated. Also thought about getting a Lite-on burner. Is their quality OK?

Lite on does a good job, I prefer plextor.

As far as installing the drive.. just take off one of the side panels, detach the cables going to the old optical drive and undo the screws if needed. Take the drive out, put the new one in, secure it, plug the old cords you unplugged from the old one into the new one and done.

I'm not familiar with the case you have, could you link to the manufacturer's page for it? We might be able to help you out from there.

Silverstone site does not have this info anymore on this case. Here are pics when I received my rig from DS.

Hmm, have you tried contacting DS? Sadly I have no experience with this case and can't seem to find much assembly information on it. Hopefully someone with a bit more "know-how" can help you out. I'd recommend giving DS a ring though, it shouldn't cost anything.
