Is it really that good?

I don't know much about psu's, but it got one hell of a rating from fudzilla..

Haven't personally tested it, heard very good things about it.  But I doubt you will need that much power unless you're putting 4x GTX295s in your system.

Its for putting your octa-sli rig in a microwave and Tec cooling it at the same time. All one the same PSU of course......

I look at it like this.. Ya 1500w is quite a bit of power, but when a 1200w cost about 129$ more its quite a bit more cost effective to go with the 1500w.

I have one here, I don't have a decent oscilloscope or the load resistors to test this thing. lol
But on my test bench I can tell you it is very quite during idle, and small loads, but it does not have an on/off switch. lol

My wifes new computer should be able to have a maximum power usage of around 1100 watts, if my OCing skills are up to the task. lol So with capacitor aging and some overhead allowed, 1350-1400 watts would be the recommended wattage for a power supply.
