Time to put my money where my mouth is and show you folks what I do with The Dragonborn.
![]() A simple SkyrimPorn album (SFW) I push Skyrim to my LG 29" Ultrawide monitor (2560x1080) via the DisplayPort output on my Krypton. Frame rates in outdoor areas are typically between 25-40FPS depending on various factors like texture quality, amount of flora, etc. 40-60FPS in most indoor areas except some of those from mods. On the Krypton's native 1920x1080 display, frame rates have a good 10FPS bump up. I use Vsync, so frame rates don't go higher than 60. If you're curious about the mods I use, you can find them here. |

Very nice look from your mods. Almost makes me want to run around chasing dragons again... too bad there's a boatload of drowners, nekkers and ghouls waiting for me.

Thank you! I created the album to post on the /r/SkyrimPorn subreddit and thought it might go well here too, letting people see what a nicely-equipped gaming laptop can do, even with a heavily-modded game. Doing my part to promote Digital Storm Laptop Gaming! ![]() |

Yeah, the Behemoth could probably handle it, but I'm not sure if the SLI will translate over the DisplayPort connection or if it would just use a single card over that output. Someone with more expertise on SLI and DisplayPort would need to answer. As for how I like it, I wrote a review on NewEgg after owning it for a month which is still accurate. The caveats I note are still present, although they occur with a bit less frequency, and I still don't know if that's just a problem with outputting it from a laptop or the monitor itself. My previous monitor didn't have DisplayPort, so I couldn't compare. |

Sounds like the Behemoth should be well able to handle pumping pixels to the 34" UWD then. Skyrim supports SLI as well, so you should be good, oldlady. ![]() |
