SLi install question

Hey all-

Getting ready to add a second GeForce 9600GT to my rig. My only question at this point is how to install the drivers. I know that both the cards use the same driver, so...

...should I:
 
1) Uninstall existing driver for the single 9600, power off, install second 9600, power on, install the driver anew, enable SLi
 
or
 
2) turn off, install second 9600, turn on, enable SLi
 
 
Let me know which is preferable, or if there is a better way.

1. download latest driver for your cards

2. uninstall current drivers.

3. turnoff PC and install the second card

4. boot up and PC and install the current drivers you downloaded earlier.

5. reboot and you are done.

get ccleaner and run that after you uninstall your old drivers.. make sure you use the regestry cleaner part of ccleaner and then shut off puter and do all the rest.

Done and done. I've always loved CCleaner. Things are running seamlessly. Thanks for your help.
