SLI with different cards

I'm interested in upgrading my graphics card from a GTX 480 to a 680, but I was also wondering is it possible to put those two together with SLI? Or would it be better to run the 680 by its self?

Also I currently have a Corsair 750W PSU, would I need to upgrade it?

You cannot mix cards for SLI.  They need to be identical. The 680s are fantastic btw.

Also, the 750Hx will handle sli 670/680.  Not much headroom but DS does it all the time and it will work.
