HI! so i downloaded Sniper elite V2 on my brand new computer. It is a Marauder Level 4. I was just wondering how demanding the game was with graphical use. When i have everything on ULTRA and have supersampling at 4.00 it runs at a 25-45 frames per second. When the supersampling is at 2.5 it runs at 55 to 65 frames. I was just wondering if This is a very demanding game for graphical use, or will i get the same performance on other games with stunning visuals. ( BF3, ect.)

I kind of answered this in your other post. Big%20Smile

Supersampling is very demanding even for higher end cards.

Hello JGN... I play Sniper Elite V2, and yes it is quite a demanding DX11 game. Performance depends on what resolution you play at, and the video settings are very configurable in SEV2. Supersampling on max is a killer on FPS, and even using 2 x SLI 680 Classified in a Hailstorm rig at 5760 x 1200, I keep supersampling set at 2.5. You really don't need all Ultra settings on everything to enjoy this game.

If you haven't spotted it yet, in menu the game has an "Extras" selection called "Benchmark". It allows you to test your current video settings and after the short clip runs, it provides you with your average FPS. You can go back and tinker with it and Benchmark the settings again as many times as you like until you are satisfied with performance. One of my fav games.

I really like SN2 however, I should also mention, it is not as demanding as you might think, but then again it is. Why? The game was very poorly made. It has a massive amount of problems. Sniping is fun though so -- its okay in my book. :D
