well, I got a email saying i reached stage 6,  so it seems things are moving along ok,, I ordered back on Jan 31,,  so its still alittle longer than the 5-8 days,, but it did say Estimated, so its just a waiting game for abit longer,,,just looking forward for it arriving here and hopefully in one piece, via UPS,,Ouch
 
I Just registered so i may have posted this in the wrong area,, but just thought I'd let ppl know where things are at with the ordering,

Stage 6 is the final stage.  As soon as you make it through the QA it should ship!

It usually ships the same day you get the stage 6 email. You'll get an email with a tracking number though once it ships.

well, very cool,,   being that its going to replace a computor that i bought from a company 3 years ago, that i wont name,,  im looking forward to a better system than that POS Alienware I bought.LOL    
 
I will say that i did lurk this forum for sometime and a couple others,  but I have been really impressed upon the support activity of the DS staff here on the forums and the users that use it too.   and the few calls i made to DS was nice and easy,, and hey!  i didn't need an interpeter!!!
 
well, when i recieve it and have it set up and going i'll report back and let ya''ll know what i think,  and I might even post pics, if im not too busy playing COD4Wink

I think the stage system may still need a bit of work, I got an e-mail saying I was in stage 6 on the 11th. On the 12th I got a phone call saying my power supply was out of stock and I needed to pick a different one.
 
Now I'm back up to stage 5 as of yesterday, but I'm kind of curious how my system got through its stress testing without a power supply   LOL
