Softwares for my new system

System Specs:
i7 920 OCed
EVGA mobo
6Ghz 1333 Mushkin
Nvidia 280.
Vista 64-bit

Here are the softwares I always use/need:

Gom Player

Winrar

Internet Download Manager

A notpad progarm to open/modify .nfo files. (editing software)

AntiVirus: Not Sure.

Do I need spyware software??

FireFox with Adblock Plus (to block adds)

Do I need any uninstaller programs??

Do I need any Optimizer programs??

CD/DVD Mounting software: PowerISO

CD/DVD Burning software, not sure which.

Video/Audio converter, not sure which.



Any thoughts/answers/suggestions will greatly help.

what software you need depends on your needs.

I don't know if you need a emulation software, do you have files that you need emulation software for?

nero is a good burning software.

do you encode audio and video?

anti virus & firewall = eset Smart Security

anti spyware = spysweeper

for nfo files you use "damn nfo viewer" if you can't find it let me know, however I'm not sure if it will work on 64bit, it does not hurt to try.

if you want a download manager then use the best "flashget" not to be mistaken with "flashgot".
