hi guys, I got my new DS system! its HUGE!!! but its great!!! I have few questions please help me out:

1. I have 942 HAF-X case, I requested installed one 200mm additional fan on top of the case. When I run the games, like mafia2, total war...etc the fan speed are stay constant is that normal? Can I increase speed?

2. I am worry about overheating, are that setup enough?

thx guys!

The case fans will remain consistent and same with the cpu fan. what changes depending on heat is your graphics card fan which is usually the only one you notice and the loudest. you can download msi afterburner to set a fan profile to make it spin faster as the gpu gets hotter. you should modify it a bit to make the fan go faster when it gets hot but other than that your good. the haf series cases stand for high air flow and you shouldn't have a problem.

CPU fan will adjust the speed based on the CPU temp, unless they locked it in on 100% in the BIOS, which I doubt they would.

these 2 sentences don't go together very well IMO.

you're fine, the fans are set on cpu temp as justin said, unless manually set to run at a locked speed
which i highly doubt also

Congrats on your new DS system !

No, all the fans are set on high except the cpu fan is by the cpu temp and the gpu fan is set with your fan profile.
