hey guys a frind of mine has an old pc eith win 2000. but have a real bad spyware ok it. is there ant avp that i can get for it thats free and works?
 
 
 
ps i know it's pos but it is for her daughter and it will be good anuff for what she wants to do

honestly when things get that old you are much better off to just reformat it. network it with a computer you have and copy/transfer any vital files. then install a fresh xp (90 bucks?) or track down the old win2k disk and start over.
 
ive always been completely against having anything running 24/7 on my machines, i prefer to scan/clean once a week or so instead. good programs for that are ccleaner(highly reccomended), spybot, and adaware
